Ecological disruption-Fishing may disrupt food webs by targeting specific, in-demand species. There might be too much fishing of prey species such as sardines and anchovies, thus reducing the food supply for the predators. It may also cause the increase of prey species when the target fishes are predator species such as salmon and tuna. Fisheries can reduce fish stocks that cetaceans rely on for food.

Music is experienced by individuals in a range of social settings ranging from being alone to attending a large concert. Musical performances take different forms in different cultures and socioeconomic milieus. In Europe and North America, there is often a divide between what types of music are viewed as a "high culture" and "low culture." "High culture" types of music typically include Western art music such as Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and modern-era symphonies, concertos, and solo works, and are typically heard in formal concerts in concert halls and churches, with the audience sitting quietly in seats.

Friendship therefore opens the door to an escape from egoism or belief that the rational course of action is always to pursue one's own self-interest, although escaping through the door would require finding what is covered by "same or similar way". It is notable that friendship requires sentiments to which Kant denies moral importance. It is a purely personal matter, requiring virtue, yet which runs counter to the universalistic requirement of impartial treatment of all, for a friend is someone who is treated differently from others. One problem is to reconcile these apparently conflicting requirements.

Social ecology is a philosophy developed by Murray Bookchin in the 1960s.It holds that present ecological problems are rooted in deep-seated social problems, political and social systems. These have resulted in an uncritical acceptance of an overly competitive grow-or-die philosophy. It suggests that this cannot be resisted by individual action such as ethical consumerism but must be addressed by more nuanced ethical thinking and collective activity grounded in radical democratic ideals. The complexity of relationships between people and nature is emphasised, along with the importance of establishing more mutualistic social structures that take account of this.

Home building pertains to anything from a house made of all stone, or a shack made of sticks. Containment's hit everything from walls, fences, roads, paths and gates. ![cry](http://s60.ucoz.net/sm/1/cry.gif) Hydrological improvement (Land levelling, drainage, irrigation, leaching of saline soils, landslide and flood control) Soil improvement (fertilization, establishment of proper chemical balance). Soil stabilization/erosion control.Road construction Afforestation, as a means for both water conservation and land protection against wind erosion ![sad](http://s60.ucoz.net/sm/1/sad.gif) It is recommended to stay away from destroying a natural environment if you have to build on new land. But if you have to, do it in the safest way of destroying the least amount of natural Habitat. ![cry](http://s60.ucoz.net/sm/1/cry.gif) Putting up fences, paths and/or gates, providing a path for animals. Soil conservation efforts and keeping certain green land untouched to avoid negative impacts on wildlife.

The presentation is prepared not bad.It is clear enough, decorated brightly and colourfully. In the beginning by a rule there is a content. In presentation the main themes of modern ecological conditions are mentioned. There are schedules and illustrations. But I should not criticize this presentation. It isn't simple to read it. Also there are many terms.I think, the creator of presentation would not read.Sometimes letters merge with a background. But in general it is worked not bad.

I chose the theme of "Alcoholism." Texts, examples, images and especially the statement is very wise I liked. I solidary with the view of Mary. After a slow death, the destruction of yourself Inside, much worse than the death fast. Pictures pretty impressive display text. Presentation done well, and affects a very important question of human life.

Religion. ![smile](http://s60.ucoz.net/sm/1/smile.gif) This makes you think not to be so naive about joining in any religion or anything religion related club. The public needs to be aware of this because many the people involved with these groups are being trapped in these cults. Many are abused emotionally, physically and sexually esp. young child, teenagers and adults. This doc also brings lite to many families who have been torn apart as a result of cults. The doc brings to lite that anyone can be a target for a cult and join not just naive college students but parents, models, actors, or just your regular average everyday person.

This special work brought the sketches with the one character people always remember - being a Teenager. Basically the sketches have been put into an appropriate order to show life as a teenager. But it is also a rule guide for teenagers to follow-how to be a teenager. These clips assembled to one rule concerned: the family, getting girls and teachers to like you, hating your parents Mum, and being with your best friend. A very funny work- from a very funny character. Very good!

The boreal biome, the sweeping band of conifer forest just south of the Ecology&Problems. Arctic Circle, is a key region for studying climate change-and not just the impacts. Certainly, with boreal forest fires growing more frequent and boreal permafrost melting dramatically, the area is responding very visibly to the rise of carbon in the atmosphere. Yet the trees and permafrost themselves are vast reservoirs of carbon. Ecologists are keen to understand how climate change is altering the way the boreal biome adds to and takes up carbon from the atmosphere. This video highlights ongoing experiments in Alaska that aim to unravel these complex feedbacks so scientists can better predict outcomes as climate change continues.

this mini-work follows the rise of the American film industry. Each episode focuses on a different aspect of film history and production. Several film makers - stars, writers, directors, producers, stunt-men and crew - and their family and friends are shown. There are also hundreds of film clips and behind-the-scene photographs, how-did-they-do-that spoilers and lots of trivia. It is f wonderful attempt. ![cool](http://s60.ucoz.net/sm/1/cool.gif)

I watched a presentation on "The History of Hollywood". Overall, I liked the presentation. There is a bright and colorful design, a lot of photos and pictures. Cognitive and interesting information. But it was hard to read the information on the slides, because the text is merged with the pictures. I learned many new facts about the film industry in Hollywood. Most of all I was interested in facts about Disneyland, because it's my dream, to go to there and experience the magic atmosphere. Thanks to the author for it!
