33. History of the World in Two Hours   (02.02.2012 23:49)

A rapid-fire history of our world, from the beginning of time as we know it to present day. This two-hour CGI-driven special delves into the key turning points: the formation of earth, emergence of life, spread of man and the growth of civilization--and reveals their surprising connections to our world ...

Every beat in the story will present a connection from the distant past to our world as we know it today, connecting us and the world we feel we’ve made to the history that has helped shape all of it, and us.
Told in a thrilling, fast-paced style, the film hits the highlights of our planet’s widely varied story, examining the Big Bang, the birth of our solar system, the emergence of life, the downfall of the dinosaurs, the rise of primates, the epic journey of Columbus, the invention of the steam engine and much more. But most importantly, it will show how so many of these events are improbably connected, from the 50-million-year-old seashells that now make up the Great Pyramids of Egypt to how grass was responsible for the primates learning to walk upright.

P. S. Panda symbol, it was just a coincidence. One panda was transported to the zoo the same year with the establishment of WWF. It was black and white, fitting needed logo colours. So, guess what happened...

Next, the global animal defence programs? Maybe it's predictable, but I still choose WWF, this woldwide thing with panda embleme, the organisation working on issues regarding the conservation, research and restoration of the environment. At first, it's independent. World Wildlife Fund has supporters in more than 100 countries, there are 1300 conservation projects in process now. It's a foundation, derving only 17% from government sources. People and companies do much more. The main aim of WWF is "to halt and reverse the destruction of our environment". WWF does much for this purpose, but also helps to protect some endangered species and is more than concerned abot the pollution. Basically, it's biggest and most hepful ecological organisations nowadays. Any objections - write here.

I chose to write essay on "Religii" presentation. Not because I liked it, just because my dear computer blocked every other one with "404". So, the presentation. Full impression is great, but some details are a bit annoying. Simple mistakes - more logics, than grammatics. Repeats of "of", for example. And is it possible to come in fleshes? How do you see it, some fleshes floating around? Or epic "from what must be the world is saved?". Please, could you finally decide: the world MUST BE saved or it IS safe? Of course, I can be mistaken, because I don't know English perfectly, but I couldn't just pass by. If I hurt the author of the presentation, I ask him not to write angry letters, because chances are I will simply forget about them. I have to say sorry now. Sorry!

deal Deep ecology's core principle is the belief that, like humanity, the living environment as a whole has the same right to live and flourish. Deep ecology describes itself as "deep" because it persists in asking deeper questions concerning "why" and "how" and thus is concerned with the fundamental philosophical questions about the impacts of human life as one part of the ecosphere, rather than with a narrow view of ecology as a branch of biological science, and aims to avoid merely anthropocentric environmentalism, which is concerned with conservation of the environment only for exploitation by and for humans purposes, which excludes the fundamental philosophy of deep ecology. Deep ecology seeks a more holistic view of the world humans live in and seeks to apply to life the understanding that separate parts of the ecosystem (including humans) function as a whole. bye

help Deep ecology is a contemporary ecological philosophy that recognizes an inherent worth of all living beings, regardless of their instrumental utility to human needs. The philosophy emphasizes the interdependence of organisms within ecosystems and that of ecosystems with each other within the biosphere. It provides a foundation for the environmental, ecology and green movements and has fostered a new system of environmental ethics.

A humane society may be a group that aims to stop human or animal suffering due to cruelty or other reasons, although in many countries, it is now used mostly for societies for the prevention of cruelty to animals (SPCAs). In the United Kingdom, it may also be a society that provides a waterways rescue, prevention, and recovery service, or that gives awards for the saving of human life deal

The charity's work has inspired the creation of similar groups in other nations, starting with the Ulster Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in Northern Ireland and including the Scottish Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Scottish SPCA or SSPCA), Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Australia, the Royal New Zealand Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RNZSPCA), and the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. The RSPCA is funded entirely by voluntary donations. No state or lottery funding is received. In 2008, total income was GBP 119,926,000, total expenditure was GBP 114,090,000, and reserves were GBP 70,656,000. Its patron is Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

PETA writes that it is an animal rights organization, and as such it rejects speciesism and the idea of animals as property, and opposes the use of animals in any form: as food, clothing, entertainment, or as research subjects. "When it comes to feelings like hunger, pain, and thirst, a rat is a pig is a dog is a boy."The group has been criticized by other animal rights advocates for its willingness to work with industries that use animals—a position many animal rights advocates find problematic.

“...They need above all money, to carry out missions and to meet conservation emergencies by buying land where wildlife treasures are threatened, money, for example, to pay guardians of wildlife refuges ...for educations among those who would care... For sending experts to danger spots and training... Making it all possible that their needs are met before it is too late.” cry help cry

The global ecology movement growth has been stimulated by a widespread acknowledgement of an ecological crisis of our planet. Its story has run alongside the environmental narratives that have reached popular consciousness. There was a great deal of concern over nuclear weapons and nuclear power in sixties and seventies, then there was acid rain in the eighties, ozone depletion and deforestation in the nineties, and now climate change and global warming are the biggest concern for many. As well as the bigger global issues like these and species extinction, the ecology movement also encompasses any group wishing to protect our environment. The ecology movement has evolved and branched out to different means of effecting change. There is the political branch with the Green parties. Its views on people, behaviors, events centered around the political and lifestyle implications of the science of ecology and the idea of nature as a value in itself.

An ideal of the structure and contents of a state constitution that emphasizes brevity and broad functions and responsibilities of government, based on a “higher-law tradition” (that is, a state constitutional tradition based on basic and enduring principles that reach beyond statutory law) as opposed to “Positive Law Tradition” (a state constitutional tradition based on detailed provisions and procedure). It does not promote ideals or a particular political ideology, but rather a simplistic, more concise, and more readable outline for state fundamental law that seeks to remain flexible to deal with emerging problems.

Critical Essay on presentation
The Religion of Christian.
I have read and have seen the given presentation. It is very interesting and in detail told about the religion. I consider that it will be interesting to us to read this presentation. So it was not very pleasant to me that the presentation has been boringly issued. There were no pictures with which it would be more interesting to read and study presentation. But in this case I have learned much about Christianity, when it has occurred.
